Has anyone tried the limbsations from Onestringer? I was thinking of putting skins on my carbon backed Timberghost Smoke. was looking for something permanent, can I spray a finish over them. Any thoughts or experiences?

I use them and think they are a good product.  They are a vinyl sticker though with defined edges, I wouldn't spray them nor do I think they would ever "look" permanent.  The cloth snake skins form 3 Rivers (and others) are made to be permanent and finished onto the limbs.

They work well, easy to apply and remove without limb damage. I have not seen a need to spray them with anything. I have used the diamondback, canebrake and copperhead depending on riser colors.

Craig just bite the bullet and send that bow to Jim Neaves to slap some real skins on there. Jim put some copperhead skins on my brown glass River Runner and they look great he does an awesome job.

I just got some for my ILF Morrison recurve.  I wanted to use a snake skin pattern but didn't know which one would be the best looking option.  I had a few conversations with Mindy and she literally done everything she could possibly to do help me.  I ended up getting the ones that looked great and complimented my riser and bow.  It turned out better than I had thought it would.

I don't know if you can spray on top of them.  You should email and ask Mindy.  She'll be able to tell you or help out in any way she can.

I have ordered their arrows wraps in the past as well and I will continue to be a customer of theirs.  Onestringer is the best retailer I have ever dealt with.....period.

Try them, you'll really like 'em.

I put a set of the copperhead pattern on my wife's recurve, and she loves them.  That's all that counts.
The service was outstanding, as others have mentioned.
