Dressed for the dance...
« on: February 02, 2016, 02:12:00 PM »
My new Blacktail that is!   I just put the finishing touches on it.  I added a Thunderhorn Lynx quiver.  They do such a good job at matching the leather to the colors in the bow. I have never been disappointed in any quiver that I have bought from them.  The rubber straps act as vibration dampeners, they really work nice.

And to top it all off, a brand new dozen arrows from Gary Hall at D&M Custom Arrows.  I have always been a do-it-your selfer when it comes to just about everything. After getting to know Gary over the past year, and seeing his beautiful work....well, I just couldn't resist!         I went with Beeman Centershot 600s, with PINK!!   :jumper:

I hope to get it out on some 3D ranges VERY soon.

Loving those looks.  One of the prettiest bows I've ever seen. BTW that cedar string you made for my TC is gorgeous.

Alex, that Natural Cedar color in Fury is great. The string on my bow here is brow, Nat. Cedar w/2 black strands. It matches the woods in my boq perfectly.

Wow Allen!! Great looking bow, quiver, arrows and bow string. I especially like the contrast between the ebony and myrtle. I too found that my new Thunderhorn Lynx matched my bow colors perfectly. It's gonna hurt when you lose an arrow that pretty. How's it shooting?

if they give awards for prettiest bows, you should win that one easily!  Let's hope you can shoot half as good as the bow looks!  ;)

The whole set-up is beautiful.
I really like that quiver. I've been looking at a number of 4 arrow bow quivers and that may be the one I try.
Thanks for sharing.

Michael, it shoots fantastic!  Tuning was a breeze.

I worry more about busting one of these pretty arrows with another arrow more than losing one. Guess I need to learn to be more careful.   :dunno:

Yep, I think you can walk on any 3D range with chest out and head held high! Or you could just be you. A handsome pair they are.
