Looking for the best option to glue brass inserts into GT carbon shafts.

Many like JB Weld, I have used golf club makers epoxy with good results. Excellent preparation is the key.

I use the original Gorilla Glue (brown in color), not the super glue and I've never had a failure in bond with inserts.  Plus, it releases at a lower temperature than epoxy so it is removable with less likelihood of damaging the shaft.

Not an exact answer to your question - but something to consider.

I've been using Golfsmith golf club epoxy because I had a lot of it around. It works great.

GolfSmith epoxy X3. Been using it for years. Only issue, it is not reverseable. I melted CE shaft using the "heat the field point trick". I cut from the nock end when tuning.

Prep was mentioned and is very important. My method may seem overkill but never had any come loose, ever. I use acetone and the swabs I get at Fry's electronics for cleaning. I wipe the ends. Then I take a .30 cal cleaning bore brush on rough up the inside of shaft. Then clean with acetone agian. I also clean the inserts as well. I use a brass brush to rough them up as well.
I also have from 3Rivers one of the "T" wrenches with a 8/32 tap. I admit I am messy and may get epoxy in threads.

I use the Gorilla Super glue high impact. Holds up extremely well for stumping. I also like that it is locally available and inexpensive.

I had a chance to use some "Insert Iron" and was pretty impressed with it.

Big Jim's works great. Easy to use and easy to pull inserts out and they stick in there good.

All of them work good if you get the dust out and scuff up the insert a little, but I kind of like the hot glue the best

Low temp hot melt.  I have used the Apple brand and have not had an insert pull out in many years since using it.

I use the hot melt 99% of the time.  Sometimes you get that broadhead that just won't quite spin right and you heat it up and tinker enough until the insert melts and then everything has to cool down and start over....

I shoot the G/T shafts for many years - Just use the Gold Tip glue as well and you will not have any problems.

I used gorilla glue and jb weld..both are OK.

Then I tried Big Jim's hot melt and I haven't looked back since. It is a cut above anything else I've found for the Gold Tips

I was a skeptic that hot melt could be used with carbons, but I've had zero failures with the aforementioned Quik Stik from Big Jim.  Epoxy is normally permanent...you will eventually change bows, form, etc. and regret using it. Replacing arrows is expensive.
