Question on a couple of bears
« on: February 16, 2016, 11:02:00 AM »
What do you think would be a fair price on these two rascals?  Both are Grizzlys, one in 40# one in 45#.   The guy selling them wanted 500 for the pair, and hasn't had any bites.  He dropped down to 450, still no bites.  I offered him 400 a few days ago and he just told me that he would probably keep them before selling them that cheap.  So I just hit him with 425.  What say you experts?

They look super clean.

I think 425 to 450 would be pretty fair do to what appears to be excellent plus condition.

Don't want to say Grizzlys are a dime a dozen, but there are an awful lot of them on the big auction site, and most go for less than this fella is asking.  They appear to be in very good shape, and popular weights. That raises the price some.  Just have to decide if they're worth it to you.

To me they are overpriced at $400 but that's just me. If they were Kodiaks then go for it.

Thanks guys.  but apparently $25.00 was the difference.  I'm picking them up Saturday. I hope I like them Orion, if not I'll trade them off or hold on to them or something, lol!  Reddogge, I'm shooting a grayling Kodiak now, and love it.  Hopefully these will shoot as well.

I think 200 each is about market value. I picked up this really clean 49# grizzly for 180 on an auction site.  Although that was after a couple weeks of looking for the right one.
