Anyone using turkey decoys for deer?

There are certainly quite a few turkeys in the area this year. I was just wondering if anyone has or is using turkey decoys to help reassure deer that it is safe to step out 12 yards in front of my snuffer tipped arrow.

I generally put one out. I can't say for sure that it reassures deer any but it doesn't hurt. I have had a couple walk right up to them.

I've wondered about that and some soft calling.

My turkey decoys always scare deer during turkey season. I've had deer blow, stomp, and best of all attack them. Probably won't put them out in the fall at all. dino

I have had many deer come in while I was yelping or clucking but never have tried the decoys during deer season.
