James Rempp of Montana, 'Hamstring' black locust selfbow, backed in green silk with amazing prairie rattler skin over the top. Bow is named "Road Rash" because snake was a big bruiser who was a highway kill. Bow is unique also in having one sheep horn tip and one elk antler tip which gives each end of the bow a different 'live rattler' look. 60" 55@27 in a plains flatbow style with slight r/d and slight stringfollow. Fast shooter and silent.

How the heck do the arrows go straight with some of these neat looking bows that are crooked? I sure like the looks of all the bows showing.

osage from Joe Mattingly he gifted to me right before he passed...
vine maple from John Strunk with my first bamboo arrow
osage with rawhide and snake backing from John Strunk with a nutria from eastern shore of Maryland
unfinished hickory flatbow I started and need to complete...leaving part of cambium layer on back for camo/design.

I took the boys rabbit hunting a couple years ago. The bow on left is my Arvin Weaver, the other 2 Arvin watched over me while I made them. Tod, my youngest son still shoots his selfbow over any other bows... Thanks Arvin & Deb
