My New Holm-Made River Runner... Update
« on: February 22, 2016, 03:29:00 PM »
After discussing riser wood and limb veneer options a bit more, I've made my decision! Highly figured bocote and phenolic riser with spalted maple limb veneers. Bocote/black and natural glass tips with bocote/black front and back overlays.  Pics to follow soon.

Can't wait to see pics.

Chad shipped mine today. I should have it in a day or two. I have no idea how to post pictures, but would love to do so if I can figure it out. I can't wait to get it in my hands.

Fred,I never heard back from you. Did you decide on woods for your bow?

Thanks Fred. I will take you up on that offer and email you pics when it arrives. Yes, I ordered a River Runner with a Bolivian Rosewood/Bubinga riser and Tamo Ash veneers on the limbs. Tomorrow or Thursday is probably realistic for the USPS, but maybe I'll get lucky and Jerry will be filling in for Newman and it will show up today. That's an old Seinfeld reference for those who used to watch it.
