Yeah Fred, it is a beautiful piece of figured bocote. I'm really looking forward to seeing the spalted maple limb veneers against the riser. I'll post a pic as soon as Chad sends it to me.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the Chechen once the moisture level drops. It should be a beauty too. Have you seen the zebra wood yet?

Thanks guys! Chad is a craftsman of the highest order and a gentleman to boot! Couldn't be happier with the way things turned out and the advice Chad gave along the way.
