Well, well, my Wesley Special was waiting when I got back from a camping trip. I would post pics, but Photobucket is being testy today. Maybe I can get some up later.
Anyhow, the bow shoots just like I hoped it would. Hitting where I'm looking with field points and broadheads, and tuning was a snap. There is noticeable handshock compared to my r/d bows, but that was to be expected, and it is really no biggie.
Specs: 55@28, 68". I'm shooting cedars spined 65-70, 625 grains.
Now I will be able to hunt elk with it in a bit over a week. Yahoo!
Tried Photobucket again and at least got one pic loaded. Caramelized bamboo limbs and bacote riser, with moosehide wrap on the grip. The inscription is to honor my old Army unit, and those who have been there know what "Sat Cong" means.
