Good shootin bud!! Another thing I miss about the mountains.

I got the Crossover glove and am really liking it. Had reservations the first day but it's now day three and I've adapted just fine.

I always shot longbows with cat whiskers on the string. I see a lot of pictures of longbows on here with nothing on the string.  Are you able to tune the "twang" out or is this part of the charm of the longbow?  Thanks

Finally got me one of them hill bows...It is a 68"  45# RH slight string follow bow.

I am not so thrilled how light the Bolivian Rosewood is compared to the caramelized bamboo, they are just too close in color and kinda "blend", but its all good I will not make that mistake on my next one.

I also am not a fan of the "straight" grip on this bow so I think I will try to take that alligator grip off and make it a "locator" style grip.

I like this one much better then that hand cracking dynamite bow I first tried at my local archery shop last year. I see why you all shoot them and I think I may use this one at our local 3D shoot this weekend.

Enjoy this pictures...

Hey Ralph,

Before you mess with changing your grip, you may want to shoot straight a bit.  A lot of guys didn't think it agreed with them until they gave it a chance.

By the looks of it I would say you did NOT make a mistake. That's a great looking bow.  I might change the grip leather if its not comfy though.

Ralph, hold off a bit before you make any changes to the grip. Sometimes it takes a little getting use to . You may learn to love it...   :archer2:

I like the wood on rmorris' bow! The blending effect made me look at it more, and I find the colors pleasing and calming. Nice grain!
