Ir's been the same for me too this year. It's good to hear you're still shooting the Hill and enjoying it!

Hope to see you at the Hill Hog Hunt.

ALL
My first HH was a 70"Tembo #111 65@28 took a Caribou with it. Next was The King of The North 70" #34 and 65@28 didn't have the cast of the Tembo so made some money on er-sale what a looker. Also I was fortunate enough to have had A 64" centenial #41 65@28. Positevlv wand like with it's mertil handle. I won some trofies with it but it never took game in my hand. Traded it for three DZ of the most beautiful self nock ACME cedars you ever saw. And now my black on black Westly 64" and 55@28 with wildernes costom dougles fur arrows is the backup to my self made primative set. 64" 60@28 rawhide backed osage "Sweet Thing" is waring praire rattler and has some Sweet snakey curves.
Oh ya you can get bitter by the Flint Knaping but as well.
I call my self an Archer.

Jesus-

When was that bow built, it looks new. What woods are in the handle, and how does it shoot?

Welcome to the forum, the Centennial is one of my favorite Hill bows, it's a real classic looking bow.

Darren, good questions, I'll have to do some investigating. LOL It shoots real good, no hand shock, pulls smoothly all the way back. Its the fastest Hill style I have shot, not that I'm looking speed.

Jesus -- That is one purdy bow.  Congrats.

Darren -- Plan is still to make it to the hunt.  Looking forward to it.  Just ordered my t-shirt.  Put the dates on my wife's calendar so she won't forget.  Killie and I will be driving down together, don't know who else we might drag with us yet.  I did miss the arrow raffle though.  That was a bummer.

Anyhow, good stuff.

What's the history on the George bow?  Really nice looking bow. I hear of them very occasionally.

I've done some re-grip of bows using barge cement and leather.  I think i posted some pick on this thread some time ago.  To shape it, I use a skiving tool, and wrap with leather. It has worked well, and you can always take it off or change it.
