The tips to me are one of the most beautiful parts.  David does the tips right.  Very elegant.

Hey nineworlds9 I call dibs on that Miller if you don't like it.  Right at my specs
That's a beautiful one.  Good luck with it.  David Miller is arguably the best out there.  I love his bows.

And rushlush that Pete George is the nicest, cleanest one I've seen.  That thing looks mint.   How long did somebody have that hidden in a closet?  Great score on that one.  Not many Timberlines out there.  Too heavy for me or I'd be battling Goshawkin for it.  He has quite a collection there.  I know some of his bows.

Anybody got advice on gripping/shooting these.  I'm still getting used to the straight grip, having problems with consistency in my shots.  I'm damn accurate with my locator grip R/Ds and my pistol grip Arner LB, the Hill is definitely a change...

I just keep getting sick when I look at the "Old Tom's".

I shouldn't have ever let mine out of my hands.

Enjoy them folks!

Great bows and my bull pen would still be complete if I hadn't done a stupid thing.

God bless,Mudd

Nine,

The old Tom is not perfect, David cut the shelve in the wrong side. !!!
And as far as the grip goes, you should be able to grip it the same as your r/d bow. There really is no difference in how you grip it, UNLESS you use a straight wrist on the r/d bow.

Jesse, did you get clear glass on the belly or coloured? Any pics?

... And once again my internal battle of Hawk vs Expedition gets under way..... Wish Dave would just build my bow so I can get to shooting it rather than agonizing over which model to get... Lol

HOWARD HILL'S ARROWS???

Hi Gang,

Does anyone know the design specs of the arrows Howard Hill shot, assuming he had a signature arrow?  All I can make out from a lot of old photos is that he used parabolic fletching and all three feathers were barred.  Does anyone know of anything else that would have been 'typical' for him regarding feather, crown, cresting and stain colors, etc.?  I'm mostly interested in the overall 'look' of his typical arrows.

Thanks,

Paul

I've seen a few videos of him shooting arrows that the shafts were white. Maybe to show up better on film?
