Glad you thought the name was cool, Chuck.  It just came to me out of the blue.  Pretty neat that you've been to La Grange and it has some personal meaning to you and your wife.

If you've every had an outside cat, you're well aware of how they can disappear for short or even long periods of time then one day out of the clear blue they suddenly reappear. Well it happened here! My Howard Hill Cheetah "Keeper Kat" has returned once again. She's as sweet as ever. 66" 56@28

Gorgeous bows everyone.
I really enjoy the juniper lams, and I'm a sucker for brown glass.. So many choices.
I just got my new Berry Northstar and am already thinking my next bow is brown on back, white on belly.

We all got on the topic of string loops a while back and how some of us prefer them real small.

A few weeks back (month or so) the string broke on Morningstar due to a rough hanging hook at te range which left me with no way to shoot for 2 weeks untill I got back home. TG member LinemanMike sent me one of his spares so I could continue to shoot . Thanks mike.

The only issue was the loops were too big making it almost impossible to string up so to remedy situations like this I seize the ends of the loop to shrink them down.

So if anyone has loops too big, give this a try. It really does work well

That loop started out a touch bigger than a quarter, now about the size of a dime

Here's something for you Howard Hill quiver fans. I had this one custom made from HHA to be a bit smaller in diameter so that I can carry only 3-5 arrows at a time. It is 22" and fits beautifully!

Slick! Any problem pulling the arrows out with the smaller opening?

None whatsoever. I put my hunting arrows tipped with 2 blade Steel Force broadheads and they came out easy and ride quietly. This will be my only quiver for my Hill bows now.

Nice looking quiver....and the arrows ain't too shabby neither TW.  How'd things go once you finally found an open area to hunt?
