Nate:  It was automatic!  Really cool.  Fun hunt!  Brown dickies (dungarees) and a columbia shirt.  That shirt is great "camo".

Ray:  Thanks for the congrats, pigs are really cool to hunt.

Berliner:  These arrows are older, I bought a dz used.  They are really straight ol cedars, probably acme shafts.

ive been parusing through this thread this a.m. . it got me to thinkin on how much i have missed straight limb longbows. my first bow was a 66" hickory selfbow with rawhide backing. yrs later i had aquired a jimbow longbow, i could never get used to the locator grip, so i sold it to a young man who was interested in trad, now i wish i hadn't. y'all have posted some beautiful bows and some awesome kills. now you have me wanting a hill style bow . maybe someday i can until then i'll keep lookin here and wishing. rv

Broke, the "bug" goes deeper than the lines and beauty of the longbow. Here it seems to be morphing into a brotherhood which has roots firmly planted in the past.

When you do finally get your Hill and become intimately familiar with it, you will be posting your kills and feeding the onlookers with your success and enthusiasm.

Jump in man!  It's a blast (from the past)

Just got in from a great Stump Shooting session with Dragonheart.  I was attempting to locate some turkeys for up coming season but no sign was found.  It was a great time and I discovered that I like a dished grip better than my locator.  Wife ain't too happy with that news as I want to order a new bow to my specs.  Maybe Jeff will be by later with some of the pics we took.
