Eric,
Oh...sorry 'bout that.  I do remember the bow but forgot the maker..  An NM longbow is one to keep from what I have heard.  That t/d will make it easy for you to scoot out to Riks mountains.  The Elk herd needs thinin out that way.....

Okay, so how do you guys with bow addictions 4-5 Hills Deep figure out which one you are taking into the woods?  I only have the two now and haven't been able to master either completely, but each has something I like about it... it's rough decisions each time... I have spent a few random days at the range going back and forth with each, 6-12 arrows at a time.
Is the thought truly to pick "the One" and head to the woods over and over and over until you know that one bow better than anything out there, then play around until a month before season and go back to a single bow? I don't know, feels horrible to try and pick just one though.
Shootz!

Keep up the good work.....!

Since I have been gone has anyone bought a shrew hill yet?

And has anyone  actually got their Sunset Hill?

Good to be back.

I just noticed something.....two guys at the top of this page with their mugs smilin' over downed game...and no camo in sight....just longbows and backquivers.  Maybe there is some interest being generated... :)   :)

Nate,
Some interest? I think that is an understatement. It is much more than that by the looks of this and all the other related threads.
I am headed to Texas with my Hill bows for hogs next week. I have no intent nor do I see a need to take camouflage. I however do not yet have a quality backquiver.  :help:  Know where a guy might get one of those??    LOL

Hi fellas, I'm looking to get a takedown Hill.  70 inch 70 lb.

Anyone shot one of Craig's in a TD?

Nate do you do takedowns?

Where would you guys recommend I start looking?

I think I like the sleeve style because I like A grip that doesn't feel split,
How bout you guys?

Thanks

Patrick

MT longbow, my huntin' buddy has a TD Hill that I really like--a lot.  Very pleasant shooter and the sleeve grip adds just enough extra weight to give a little extra stability.

Speaking of Quivers....
I make a Hill style Quiver....
Not to take away from nate or HH....
But I mentioned it to Craig and he told me I cannot use the word Hill in anyway to describe my Quiver....
So I do not have it on my site....

I know I've been on your site and I recognized the Hunter Large as a hill style, at least in appearance. I've heard you make good stuff too!

mike g...Might I suggest listing them as a "Traditional" style quiver and using one of the many pictures of "The Man" that are in the public domain.. as they say.. a picture is worth a thousand words.

Just thinking outside the box here...lol

? for you guys in the know. I draw 30" on my R/D hybrids with recurve grips. Looking at a Hill Robin Hood 68" given what I've described your thoughts on this bow for me. It is in the same weight range as my current bows.
