Anybody ever use Acacia Seyal wood?  I want to have this incorporated into a takedown longbow from Craig .  I want it because it is supposed to be the particular wood used for the Ark of the Covanent and Noah's Ark.  I would like to really use this. If anyone has experience with it I " wood" appreciate any info!

Thanks

Patrick

Been away for a few days, looks like I have 30 or 40 pages of posts to catch up on.  But I'm happy to report that with the end of hunting season came the hanging up of the recurve.  I plan on shooting only my Hills from here on through next season.  And a backquiver.  I'm really starting to fall in love with my quiver.

I've defintely seen an improvement now that I'm dedicating the practice time.  I've said before that it seems like I'm learning to shoot all over again.  But now it's starting to become quite satisfying.  I shot 3D with a couple of guys over the weekend.  One of them wants his own now, so I guess I didn't do too badly.  And I got Killdeer to buy a Northern Mist to try her hand at it.  (Well, I think not being able to go on the Hog Hunt stung her a little too.)  With a little luck, we may end up with our own local chapter of the HillGang before long here in Northern VA.
