About time you cut loose with some pictures Charlie....

Your pictures bring back memories of why I started using a longbow so many years ago

Jeff

Several hundred pages back we discussed how different bowyers has changed the size to Hill'grips over the years. However, Craig wil still make someone a thin Hill grip if it's requested. Thats how I like my grip. John Lee sent me an email once, that the Hill grip should be 1"X 2 1/8". That size may change depending in the. archers hand size.

Charlie those are great pictures, your memories.

I love them but I am even more stoked that you are still making memories and sharing the making of them with friends.

We may not move as fast as we did 20 years ago but I'm thinking we moved to quickly back then...lol

That makes us not just older hunters but may possibly even better make us a more deadly predator.

Thanks for sharing Charlie!

God bless and keep on keeping on!

I'm real sorry Charlie, but every time I see guys posing with a bunch of bow killed bunnies, I simply boil over with jealousy. We don't have anywhere close to the bunny hunting that we did 30 and more years ago in Iowa.

No kidding! It was even better 40-50 years ago. You could never hunt anything without jumping a bunch of bunnies. Now, unless you are in town, you can walk for hours without seeing a cottontail. We have NO jackrabbits left in Iowa that I know of. Sad!    :(

Out of my 58 Halfbreed from a blank, anything from 55 to 65 cut to 27"bop with 160 grains, 55 27" with Hunterheads and 145 grizzlies, for my 54 pound yew 45-50s 27" bop with 145 grains and 50-55 with 160s when using a fast flight string, 45-50s with the 160 grain Hills when not using the fast flight. All are tapered cedars from Rogue River, ordered to be heavy for the spine.
