Ok guys it is official after reading the first hundred or so pages of this thread and looking at the HH slideshow of bowporn I feel that I've got a fever and the only cure is shooting and obtaining more Hill style bows ! So much so that a local bowyer is currently building me one. I'm currently shooting a Jerry Hill wildcat Deluxe  that is a loaner untill my bow is finished so it kinda keeps the fever in check   :D  ,but I definently know I got the sickness.

OK Jeff, don't just throw that out there without telling us the details. Give us some information that will stick.    :)

Attention Austrailian hunters! I met a bunch of Aussies last they told me Levi jeans and nike shoes cost about $200 over there. So book me a hunt I'll bring a suitcase or two full of Levi's and Nikes and I should be able to pay for it lol!

What's the wait time on a Johnson bow? And (as owners)where do you feel the product fits - truly custom to your specs, draw length etc... or more of a 'standard bow with your chice of woods and draw weights' type affair?

You guys are talking about great new bows, but all I can think about is that the new place I am trying to hunt bears only seems to have small bears. Not that I am looking for a huge bear, but I am hunting for lots of tender, lean, spring bear meat. A small bear just won't do.

Granted, I cannot get into the high country where the big boys live for another week or so when the snow melts a bit more, but dang, why can't a big bear live in the low country?

Well, I will hit it hard this weekend, then think about heading up to the high country to see if I can get in through the snow to one of my honey holes. Until then. . . my bow is craving blood, and getting hungrier by the moment. Here she is 25 yards north east from my bait. Neat rock outcropping, about 100 yards long on a nice, long finger ridge separating two big canyons.
