To purchase GOOD finished ones is rather expensive because of all the work that goes into them. Best to purchase GOOD shafts and DIY.
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

My draw weight is 48#. I draw 28.25". But I'm shooting an A&H ACS. Skinny string .  I'm up to 65-70 # spine for wood arrows. They still show weak, thru the paper.

What length are the arrows cut to? Every inch longer over 28 inches and they drop 5 pounds in dynamic spine weight though. Try lowering your brace height first, a little at a time. Or build out the side plate.

Thanks Roy, I think I still wanna try some bamboo or cane arrows. I believe they are a little tougher. I'm getting tired of making woods , only to break them after a couple shots.

Can't say that I blame you, Dan. Cane or bamboo arrows are much stronger than wooden arrows and they look sharp as heck and fly very well. Made a few of them myself..   :)

Wow ! Roy those are nice ! With my 65-70# spine the arrows are coming out about 28.5" I'd like for them to be a little longer. I have some 70-75# spine I haven't made up --Yet. Was looking to purchase a Good set of cane arrows , for the reliability. Does Ryan Gill sell cane arrows ? If so how do I get in touch with him ?? Thanks Dano

The trad bow shop I go to has quite a selection of bamboo shafts for what I think is a good price. I'll see what he has for heavier spines when I go next week. I've built a dozen each for my brother and myself and they turned out fairly well. They've only broke shooting through deer.

If you want to tackle building your own it can be done with bamboo garden stakes and a little time. Well, maybe more than a little time but I think it's worth it. I usually start with 5' garden stakes from Menards. Here are some 4' I picked up last night that look promising. I think they were around $3.50 a dozen.

I took a chance and ordered some bamboo shafts from China. They were a bit pricy. $100 for 50 shafts, but they were all incredibly well spine matched, straight, and heat tempered. I've been very happy with the few dozen arrows I've made so far.

If you'd like the sellers info drop me a note.
