Fred Bear Arrows
« on: March 03, 2016, 01:59:00 PM »
Hi Guys.

I have a friend who has a 1973 box of Fred Bear arrows in the original box with Celaphane. The arrows have broadheads attached. He offered them to me for $50. Being new to this I am not sure if they are worth it or not. I think they would be cool to have as a collectible. What do you think? Thanks.

I can't speak for the market price, but it sounds fair.  Are there six arrows in the box?

I would think that was fair for 6 arrow.  If it is for a dozen, jump on it!

If they are still in good condition, I would take them.

I sold some used and opened for 80. The guy who bought them said I should have been asking more.

Feathers and it is a dozen. The box was never opened. I am going to ask him to see them again next week.

Pony up the $50 bucks. In that condition, box and arrows, the value will only go up. Guys that have the Bear displays in their "man caves" will be a lookin for them.
I offered a local shop owner $80 for a 1/2 doz. Bear arrows in orginal packaging. He turned me down. He also has one of those cardboard Fred Bear's that are diserable to collectors.
