Here is my 60" Sitka, 58#@30". The woods are Rosewood and Wenge in the riser and reverse footed Wenge and Myrtle in the limbs. The woods are just getting better with age!

This was my first custom bow built for me. It's got my name on it and will be in the family hopefully many years after I am gone...

Thats a beauty Snag! I ordered a new one sight unseen a few years back. Shot great and the performance was good. Sold it a couple months later. I prefer the small riser three pieces and the Blacktail risers are pretty beefy. That and I wasn't crazy about how the woods turned out.

Just goes to show you that you should always shoot a bow before ordering one. Even a great bow may not suit you.

I'm glad I got my Elite VL back before the prices went through the roof.

I bought mine used a few years ago. Money very well spent. The one on the right. Don't remember the wood, but it is a very good, consistent shooter in no small part due to the repeatability of the grip.

My Snakebit I had made several years back. My only regret is that I wish I had had it made a 62" instead of a 60". I recently purchased an older one piece Blacktail in 62".

Blacktail isn't using snakewood anymore, don't let that bow go! You could get additional limbs made for it, or sell it to me:)

As per request photos of my new Sitka T2. Love this bow and it shoots as well as it looks.

That's the kind of post that can lead any archer who doesn't need a new bow with a big hole in the pocket
