Don't have a pic but my first trad kill many years ago was a spike blacktail with 40# Shakesphere recurve and bear razerheads. Worked fine!!!

64" 40#@28" R/D longow made by me. 15yard shot, he only went 40 yards and fell within sight.

I dont have a pic but my friend shot a P+Y woodland caribou with a 40# Hoyt Pro Medallist recurve. Complete pass through on the run...one of the most amazing shots I've ever seen, ran by him at ten yards, he swung and released dead on.

all the following  killed with 42 to 44 lb bows

Thank you for the compliment. They are nice carp. I have shot many that could eat these with my wheels back in the day when I lived near bigger water.

Out of the great lakes and the Mississippi, they can get 6 times the size of these.
