Will stir up the hornets nest - heavy vs light courtesy the awesome results that you guys have been having as soon as the rains let up.
It seems to me that penetration is more to do with momentum as opposed to outright speed.

Ive always found that penetration favors weight (think momentum) over speed. Light and fast generally for me hasnt been good for penetration but heavy arrows regardlessof speed have always done well for me

My favorite TG thread and all thanks to Wannabe1!!!!
A late season doe shot 12/16/17 at 12 yards with a 40lb Howard Hill Tembo, 1816 and a Grizzly Instinct. Quartering away the arrow penetrated to the crest and the deer went less than 100 yards  :thumbsup:
