First sit for this season last night. Had a nice sized doe come in and offer me a broadside shot at about 6 yards. Had a bit of a tough time finding her as the dew set in and she’d ran off thru a 3’-4’ high grass field. My lovely wife found the blood trail and the doe had only ran around 60 or 65 yards. Black Widow PTF, 60” long and 43# at my draw length. Arrow was an Easton 6.5 500 spine carbon with a 12 grain insert and a 250 grain VPA 3 blade.
Only took pictures of the entrance and exit holes as I was in a hurry to get her to the barn and hung.
