Missouri hunting on private land. Friend of mine found a funnel with sign and he came in after a brief rattling session. 13 point with a Mahantango Redtail ASL, 38#@28”. Not a full pass through. Ace broadhead. He maybe went 150 yards.

Had this little guy come by checking out my mock scrape. Meat for the freezer. 45# Bob Lee signature hunter and a snuffer did the job.

Had this 155#( field dressed) buck walk by on Nov.13th about 4:40pm. A heart shot with my 45# Black Rhino take down, sitka spruce arrows and Tuffhead 225 gr. Broadhead, put him down in a few seconds in sight.

Some really nice critter being taken with some excellent arrow placement.

Congratulations to all!

You Done Good….Really Good!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Quartering away shot. 40# Korte with 2013 easton and a bear head. Ran about 70 yards. The quarting away shot is sooo deadly.

I shot this buck yesterday.  Bow was a Toelke 10X Whip 42#@28" with me pulling a bit less.  In my usual, can't settle on a set up I changed arrows midseason ( I'm my own worst enemy).  Arrow was a black eagle instincts 500 spine cut to 28.5", 100 gr outserts and 125 2 blade Magnus stinger for 493 grs.
