I finally met Big Jim-and it was really cool
« on: March 27, 2016, 01:31:00 PM »
I went to the Dan Quillian Memorial State Shoot in Thomaston, GA. When I got there and went up to see him, he says, "That's some bow ya got there."
So I asked him to hold it.    :D

He was everything everyone said he was-genuine, humble, and all around decent.

I could say that about everyone I have met and talked to over the past year.
What a great weekend.

The full album of that weekend is here:

Great guy to do business with too. I always look forward to visiting his booth at Compton.

I go to his tent first every time I'm at Denton Hill. Always helpful and friendly.

I've only had minimal business with him but based on those experiences I'd give 11 gold stars out of 10! Top notch.

Yep if TG had a sponsor of the year award no doubt Jim's name would always end up in the pot. What's not to love about the beast!

Elizabeth,  I do believe I have held your arrows before.

They look just like some a  friend of mine the woodchucker had.
