Is it better to attach the string tracker below the arrow, like a stabilizer, or above the arrow?

I like mine below, out of sight. Chad recommends above the arrow.

With a quiver on my bow and hunting from a treestand, I mount it below.
When I carry a back quiver into a ground blind, I put the tracker opposite the top of my sight window.
Interested to know what other folks do, good question!

I mount mine below. I made a small bracket that mounts under my limb bolt on my takedown bows. I can screw anything that would normally screw into a stabilizer hole onto the bracket.

Thanks guys, I was practicing out of my ground blind and started to wonder if it might be better to have it above the arrow just to have the string flow through the window a little better.

I have shot lots of critters out of blinds thru netting with the string tracker mounted below with no issues!
The only reason I mount mine below is because I can see it in my sight picture when it is above, and I just don't like seeing it there.

Just ordered one from Chad. Hope it arrives a couple of days before I leave for turkey hunt in CO on April 12. I should not have dallied.

On some bows below in the stabilizer hole, on others I drilled a hole on my bowquiver about even with the arrow. Works both places just fine.

I've mounted them below, on the Bow quiver hood and opposite the site window on Velcro. I prefer the opposite the sight window on Velcro. All of the adjustability I could want and seems to work fine.

I did the same as Bisch. I built a bracket for each one of my takedown bows and put it under the bottom limb bolt. Easy to make if you have a welder to weld the nut onto the bracket.

Chad shipped my tracker today. Don't know whether I'll use it or a screw on (plastic version) for turkey this year...depends upon the bow I choose to hunt with. Haven't messed with a string tracker since 1985 (bears).
