Longbows and wood arrows with 160+ grain heads. Current setup is a Toelke Whip HS Classic, 62" and 50 lb at 26". Arrows are Douglas Fir shafts from Surewood, tail tapered and finished by me. I like heavy heads in the 200+ range.

Mostly have been shooting my 45# Falco Storm 54" R/D Longbow. Love this bow. I have been shooting 1530 GT Trads.
Also have a #45 Bear Grizzly that like the same arrows. It will shoot GT 3555's fine as well.
Have my brothers #40 Samick Sage that I don't shoot because I got it after he died this pas year. Have a hard time using it.
Also have an old 30# PSE takedown that I bought about 12 years ago after a shoulder injury. My wife now uses it.
I like the Falco Storm a lot. It has two layers of carbon and draws so smooth. Feels like it is much less weight then 45#. The Bear Grizzly is also 45# but feels like a 55#. Go figure.

Used to focus on one-piece longbows and wood arrows, but I recently started shifting into 3-piece TD recurves and aluminum. I'm actually making my first set of self-made arrows for my newest bow this weekend! Very excited!

Please forgive me for those who are tired of seeing this, but I'm pretty excited about it!
This is my new rig: Black Widow PCH X, 58", Olive Ash and Ironwood, 51lbs @ 28".
My arrows are Easton Axis 340's with tons of weight up front.
