This is from the tradgang search in the photography section.
 http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=75;t=000478#000004

If you search how to post photos with photobucket, you can find video of the process.

I found this one with a down-under accent.

good luck!

It's very simple to do.  Post your pic to photobucket first and then copy the IMG and paste it in your thread.

All done.

Apparently I'm photo posting challenged. I just started trying to add a pic and it's giving me fits.

I like using IMGUR. Seems easier to me and fewer pop ups.  I have used photobucket as well.

With imgur just upload your pics. Then copy the "bbcode", it's one of a few options on a drop down menu, and drop it in your message.  Done.

Once you figure out either one it's pretty easy.

Remember you cannot do it directly from your phone or computer on Trad Gang.

It would be a lot better if you could just post them from your computer.

So if I have it done correctly should I be able to see the pic when I preview my post or will it just show the code?

Where are your pictures posted?  Do you have them on a site or just your computer

Go by what Wingnut posted and you won't have any trouble. It is really very simple, just takes a little time.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

When it comes to doing something on computers and the first sentence from a poster starts with something like, "It's very simple" or "It's really easy" it's time for me to move on!          :scared:

OK...There are a couple ways to do it in Photobucket but we will use the one mentioned above.

1st....click on the picture you want to post and get it to look like ....

THIS...(different pic of course).

Once there look to the right and you will see the 4 box stack labeled "SHARE THIS PHOTO" with the following lables..."Email & IM", "Direct", "HTML" and "IMG"....from top to bottom on the left.

 Looks like THIS!

You want to work with the "IMG" portion of this box.  Put your cursor on THAT BOX and click it. It will quickly say "copied".  DO NOT right click and "copy" just a simple regular left click should do it.

Then...go to your post box for Trad Gang...a different screen.  Put your cursor in the MESSAGE BOX ..RIGHT click and then click PASTE!  You're done. You will see the code post into the box...not the picture.

WILL LOOK LIKE THIS!!

Then write what you want to post above or below the picture...as seen above....and post it.

Once you've done that...you should get THIS.  (your picture of course.)

Thats it......!!            :clapper:

SCORE!!!!! Skitch you are officially "The Man" for the rest of the day. Thanks to your help I found what my problem was. I wasn't on the full site since I'm using an iPhone. If you're not on the full site the IMG code isn't an option.
