First hunt
« on: October 20, 2007, 09:59:00 PM »
in twelve years.  Spent some quality time with my oldest son.  Used a bow that I made with a quiver that I made holding arrows that I made.  Got stood up by the whitetails!  We had fun!  All is well!
And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.  GEN-21:20

That's what it's all about! Sounds like a great hunt to me. I hunted turkeys one day last spring with my oldest son. Never drew my bow...had a blast! Gonna hunt deer with my youngest son this fall (his first time). I am more excited than when I took my first deer.

Hunting with your children...it just doesn't get any better than that!
