Hunter's Choice Bow Strings --Daniel makes a fantastic string at a fair price.  I just put one on my Toelke Chinook and am very impressed.  Plus, Daniel is a great guy.

Go to the Trad Gang Sponsor List just below the 3 Rivers Archery add at the top of the Pow Wow page and scroll through the sponsors.
Ten Ring Strings  and Hunters Choice should show up.  make your selection and then click on the "Click Here" tab and it will take you to the stringmaker's website.

I recently purchased a string from Ten Ring for my recurve and can not be happier.  It was done quickly and arrived right in line with the specs provided.  I told Allen what nocks I was using and the fit is perfect.

SBD (on the sponsors list here) is excellent. Pierre uses D-10, which made a very quiet string for my bow. Others mentioned here make a fine string also. Seems most of us find we like, or our bow likes, a certain material string... the craftsmanship is excellent with several of our string makers here.

You can't go wrong with any of the string makers that sponsor this site. I use 10-ring but I would not hesitate to use any of the others.

Thanks for the mention.  IMO if your bow is "fast flight" compatable, BCY-X is my favorite.  If not, B-55 is the best choice.  It's still "Dacron", but a higher grade of polyester for less stretch/creep and better durability.

Why don't you just build your own string? It will enhance your archery experience.    :archer2:

String making is addictive.  If you decide to go that route, let me know--I can help out with the absolute best in servings and materials (BCY of course), and even know of a pretty good instructional video...   :archer2:

Simply Traditional builds custom strings. B55 or B50 Dacron strings are $15 shipped. D97 or D10 Fast Flight strings are $20 shipped. All strings served with black Halo and silencer options are available for an additional fee.

Daniel at HCB also makes some top quality bowstrings so you will not go wrong there either.

Allen at Ten Ring has built several for me and I am very satisfied.

I am certain the others mentioned are very good too.

Any of the sponsors on here are good. Buy at will. I used Ten Strings the last couple times, but have used others here also.
