New tab=new noisr?

I shoot a Kanati longbow and always shoot three under. Yesterday I received a Safari Tuff three under tad and now I hear a distinct noise almost like a pop but not. I put my old glove back on and nada. I have read of three under noise due to tiller but wouldn't it also show up using a glove?

I have that three under tab and love it. I would keep practicing with it till you break it in. It might just be making that sound because it's new.

Sometimes if a tab is a little too long past fingertips it will make a slapping noise when the string slides by the excess past the end of your fingers

I had to trim my 3-under tab WAY BACK as it was slapping my lip when I shot. My lip got so sore I didn't notice if it was making noise. I now have it cut back so it covers just about 1/2 of my finger pads no noise, no slap, nice clean release. That's with a deep hook, of course.

I too would suggest cutting it down.

That was it. I tried shooting with not so much material extending past my fingertips and it seemed quieter. Now I'm a bit nervous about trimming it. Thanks guys I knew Id find the answer here,
