I want to give a big shout out to the Alabama Society of Traditional Bowmen for putting on a great shoot this weekend benefiting a wonderful hospital. The shoot was held at the Brierfield Iron Works Historical State Park located just south of Montevello, Al. The 25 target course was made up of targets from large to small with shots ranging from roughly 15yds to a 40yd elk. It appeared that 90% of the targets on the course we're either new or reconditioned to like new condition. I found the course to be challenging but extremely fun with the most exciting shots to be a running hog at target #17 and a running deer at #21. The Howard family will definitely have this on the calendar for next year and hope to see you all their.
Lee Tate joined us for our second round. Great guy to shoot with.
Probably my best shot ever. Don't make fun of the green arrows.
