New Kodiak and Turkey meet
« on: April 22, 2016, 11:53:00 PM »
Well after all week of close but not close enough I got it done this after noon. As I was walking out to my spot I could hear the tom gobbling across the river on our island, This went on for about an hour before the birds started flying across to me. One, two, three, eleven jakes came across but the toms stayed on the island. the jakes farted around about 50 yards in front of me in the food plot before they all turned and came in. I got my shot at 8 yards, the Eskimo went in at the beard and out by his inner thigh. He made it about 20 yards and he was done. The other ten jakes went over and pick on him for about ten minutes before turning there attention back to the decoy and came back in to 8 yards.

Congrats, always nice when they come in close. How is the '59 treating you? It's one of my dream bows.

So far it's treating me great, I picked it up a month ago at the Footed Shaft and just loved the way it felt and shot.

Congratulations    :clapper:
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
