Alaska bowhunting supply doesn't sell that glove any more, or the best tab ever made.  They don't really sell much of anything anymore besides expensive arrows and an ugly carbon bow (but I hear it shoots great)

Alaska Bowhunter Supply, tried to sell off everything but the bows and arrow making business, quite a few years ago, when there were no takers, they just gave it up and quit making the stuff opting for the higher mark up of arrows, bows, and it also made it easier, to break into the compound market, with their arrows.
Thanks,
Tim

If someone knows a source for L and/or XL sizes, please let me know. I switched to a tab when I couldn't find this glove anymore.

Yep my favorite too. The one I'm using is in rough shape but I have a spare for when this one falls apart. Wish someone would start making them again.

I used to shoot a super glove but switch to the big shot by American leathers years ago and I am 3.... you can send them a trace of your hand it's a much more comfortable glove that last just as long

Terry that would be my next choice, never tried one but they just little a little bulky compared to the Super Glove.

While I can appreciate the desire for a little less bulk (I used to shoot 3R dura glove), I recently made the plunge for an American Leathers Krossover and have been quite happy with it.

The leather is as thin as you can get good leather, I think.  The rectangular finger stalls take a little getting used to but it's a great glove.

John and Lori will make sure that you get a glove that fits YOUR hand and fingers, not your neighbor's.  Hard to beat that.

hope this helps

I am another crossover happy customer. Mine is the Kangaroo leather. It is lighter than either Buff or Elk. It has not streched in our AZ. heat. If you need longer stalls or a special fit call them, they helped me with a special request on mine. I needed longer straps. I have had mine about a year now.

I liked their tab also.  One of the few traditional archery items I could find at  Cabela's that I liked. But when I could not find that one any longer, I bought a crossover glove and am well satisfied with it.  I have tried Bateman and currently am trying a Black Widow tab.  But so far I am more accurate with the crossover glove.

I have found the super glove from black widow to work well.

I bought my second AL glove recently, but haven't shot with it yet.

I strongly suggest that, if you can, you try the glove on first.  I won't buy one otherwise.  I tried sending in a trace of my hand a few years ago...the fit on one finger was way big.  Sent it back, that same finger was so tight I couldn't get it on.  I gave it away.

Not slamming them at all--mistakes happen, and I'm very picky about how my glove fits.

I've found "large" that were too big, and "X-large" that were too small...in the same glove (including AL).  Nobody is perfect, and leather isn't a consistent material to work with.  Try it on first, you know what you are getting.

I personally don't even think they're bulky compaired... they're certainly not as hard and crewd n stiff as the Super gloves or take six months to break in..... more like 6 shots..

I've owned at least 6 lost a couple gave one away and guess what they all were consistently the same leather consistently the same I must repeat they were the same.....same fit as well.

sometimes you just get snake bit on a product....its happened to me.... but it is by far a better glove overall then the super glove as far as comfort in my experience

No doubt it's a great glove--very well made, and you don't get the reputation they have by accident.

I've always had trouble getting a good fit with gloves (I've tried lots of different ones over the past 2+ decades).  I bought a "Large" at the Pre-Spring Arrow Fling (I usually wear an XL.  My ring finger is a size 15).  I tried on an XL at the TN Classic this past weekend.  Same glove, same vendor...it fit exactly like the large.  Maybe it got the wrong tag?  Danged if I know...I'm definitely snakebit on gloves.

I hear you Chad I hate it when I get snake bit on something that someone recommends that really works for them but I can't seem to work for me or either falls apart..... I've even bought a couple of their buffalo leather gloves they're thicker and a little more durable but I prefer the elk overall.

I have to agree with Terry on the American Leathers Bigshot. Best glove I have used hands down !!!
