Well, I'm on the list...now the wait begins.  I met Mike near 20 years ago, and was impressed with him as a person as much as anything.  He's not getting any younger (neither am I), so I decided I better git r done.  Can't wait to kill a deer with it!

Specs are minimal...66", 53@30, hand rubbed finish...the rest is up to him.

Shot Mike's bows for the first time at out tradfest back in April and loved them...sweet shooters! I went ahead and jumped on the list as well for a 54" Black Forest.

Chad, just curious, what core wood are your getting? I know Mike is partial to sassafras. I've used it myself for a couple of bows and it really does make a nice shooting bow.

Thanks Matt--pretty anxious myself!

Hatrick, I left it up to Mike.  I figure a bowyer with his experience will know what works best with his designs.

I'd just talked with him at the KY Tradfest a few weeks ago, and we still stayed on the phone an hour or more.

Chad,
It sure was nice meeting you at twin oaks.  I really appreciate the advice and helping a fledgling string builder get started.
