Unit 34 Wyoming Antelope - Camping Info
« on: May 18, 2016, 03:17:00 PM »
Wondering if anyone knows of tent camping locations in WY Antelope Unit 34? It is immediately east of Cheyenne. I'll be hunting about 20 minutes from Cheyenne (DIY).  Don't want to stay in motel. The ranch has "ranch hand houses but they will be occupied by ranch hands when my group is there.

Anyone familiar enough to know of any tent camp areas?

thanks

There is a KOA on the east side of Cheyenne. Other than that there is not a lot of camping options.

You can camp on BLM land. It is public land that is rented by the ranchers. I've camped on BLM land several times. The main thing is don't block gates, two tracks or camp on tanks. Above all leave it cleaner than you found it and leave all gates as you find them IE. (closed or open).
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!
