JUNE 18th ..2nd Annual CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA SHOOT

Guys....posted this in the EVENTS  section a few weeks back. Saturday, June 18th, the SECOND ANNUAL MIDD-PENN TRADITIONAL ARCHERY SHOOT will be held again at Midd-Penn Sportsmens Club. This is located in Kratzerville, Pa. . One hour north of Harrisburg, Pa and ten minutes outside of Selinsgrove just off route 204. Just watch for the  signs..!!
Last years shoot was a ROUSING SUCCESS, so we are lettin' it rip again..!!! It was their heaviest attended event of the year.!
Their are half a dozen TRAD shooters in this club and we attend numerous trad shoots Statewide....so we know what we like in a shoot and definately what we do not..!!! We strive to set up shots that are interesting, challenging , and most of all FUN..!!!   30 3-D's plus some fun novelties..!!! Plus and expanded kitchen menu to keep you satisfied. Here are the particulars:

Saturday June 18
Registration starting at 7:30 until 4:00
10 $...shoot as much as you please
30  3-D targets with quality setups...:-D
Novelties......
Good breakfast and lunch menu


Plus ...all the Jackdaw, monkeyball and Mahantango...plus Tim and George...that you can stand...!!!!  Like I said before...we put this on last year with TRAD shooters in mind and our TRAD brothers responed In FORCE...!!!!  So How about Jumping on board and helping out at Club who decided to make their Club open for us traditional guys! This is one dandy course!  Get there if you can.

Unfortunately I've got a date with a bear in Quebec, so I'm not gonna make it.  Bear Quest is about the only thing that would keep me from going.

Hey John, count me in!!! You guys set up a great course last year and i had a blast! Mid-Penn has a nice setting for the shoot and the food they served up was good. By the way if my arrow is floating in the pond will Monkeyball take a dip and get it for me lol!!! See you soon...Gary

Gary..you're killin' me..!!! You're always beating me to the punch on that one! I was going to mention that.....lol...!!!!  Even though it's not Gigantic, the emphasis on is on fun shots and interesting......!!!!  It gets boring when you go to a shoot and you say "oh look, it's a deer standing at 18 yards,!!  three Targets later oh look it's another deer standing the other direction and 19 yards..!" ...and so on....! We try to mix it up a little bit....:-D..!  I'm not sure that Craig is up to backstrokin' the pond again...but its his call....''' you'll know if you see his t-shirt and Jerusalem cruisers sitting on the bank..!!!!!! Lol... glad you're comin..!! See ya' then Gary....and the rest of you as well....:-D

Guys if you missed this shoot last year make a point to get there this year. As this being the 2nd yr its already a sleeper shoot that needs more people to attend!!!The shots are hunt like settings trees,sticks, leaves blocking parts of the vitals on some targets and some long shots added in...great mix!!! Plus its well worth the 2 1/2 hr drive for me...Gary

Hey John, I hear its an Iron Man course, 1 arrow only awsome!!! I'm glad i only shoot woodies!!!

The "Iron Bear" shoot is a one arrow iron man shoot.  An 8 shot course...consisting of 8 bear targets in some precarious settings.Dare I say challenging..??? One arrow only...hit foam...you get the score..5 ,8 or 10..!!! Lose your arrow, you have 60 seconds to  find it or its game over for your round..!!  Break your arrow...same fate..!!! Those who have the highest score after 8 bears wins..!!! IF you make through all 8..! The winner gets the special "Iron Bear" package..!!  All included in your 10 $ entry fee....so don't miss out...!!! As for the metallic bear pictured above...a little more paint and our trail sign is completed..!!...oh yes....only ONE time thru for score......see you all here..:-D

I'm coming even if I can't get my buds to come along. I figured maybe 2, 2 and 1/2 hour drive. After all, we need to support our brothers in trad. Hoping for good weather. Will look you up Jackdaw when I/we get there.

Hoping for good weather too! But bad weather won't stop Jackdaw, last year it was soggy and he was running around the course in soaking wet sneakers....lol!!!
