Stickflingers 2016...hoping the next camps can chime in
« on: May 28, 2016, 04:25:00 PM »
Just uploaded the video on YouTube:

I'm heading back from a great hunt with Stickflingers. What a great hunt and great guys to share camp with!
I hope everyone can share their stories in the next few weeks and add the the fun.

Special thanks to Mike Tibbits and Glen Hermon who let me car pool with them after my "new to me" truck broke down on my way out of Tulsa! I think we all had a great hunt although we didn't all come home with a bear and the hospitality and professionalism of this camp mixed with overall good company made the Canadan woods all that much better.

I'll upload the video as soon as possible, old dry sow came in on my first bait and gave me a 8 yard shot. She crashed about 40 yards away after the TallTines sent a 550 grain Grizzly tipped arrow through her like a wet paper bag. She measured 5'11" x 6' and for my first bear I couldn't be happier!

Did you custom paint some Tall Tines limbs, or what kind of bow is that? Thanks for sharing.
If it's in your way, move it.

I hand painted those limbs, didn't like how gaudy the colors are but it was fun. I have always gotten the basic limbs for my TallTines and wanted to spruce them up. I need to get some snakeskins put on them

Too awesome!

I really want to do a bear hunt some day.

Congrats!

Nice bear.  I look forward to these threads every year.

Ryan puts on an awesome camp, glad I have experienced it.
