Hi, all, from Northeast Illinois just shy of the Wisconsin border!
Many of the names I recognize; others I don't. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
A little back-story...
Been shooting archery since I was a kid; put it down a while when I got into gun hunting in a big way, then got back into it via compounds (yeah, I know...) but the pull was strong and I ended up buying a Samick Sage a couple years ago, which fueled the fire in a big way. This past season (2015) was my first trad bowhunt, and though I came home to an empty freezer, I consider it my best season ever.
In the last year I've managed to start a small collection of vintage Bears; a '72/'73 era Grizzly, a '69 Tamerlane HC300, a '70 Kodiak Hunter and a Kodiak Magnum, all used but in very good condition. While I've been shooting stickbows a long time, I still consider myself a relative 'newbie' to the sport and am looking forward to learning and sharing as much as I can!
