50 Grain Brass Inserts for GT blems( FOUND EM!!)
« on: June 07, 2016, 04:25:00 PM »
I need some 50 Grain brass inserts for my g/t blems. I can't seem to find anything but 100 grain in brass. I am currently using the aluminum inserts.  I don't wanna have to retune so I want to keep using 50 grains. Anybody know where to get some?

Randy, I looked at their website and it looks like they make a 60 gr brass insert. We should've looked at it when you were here earlier. It says that the shop just down the road from me is a dealer. You may want to call On Target in Canton. It also says they are a dealer - maybe they have them in stock.

I bet the extra 10 gr won't make much difference.

Thx guys, I'll look into it some more.
Big Jim only has aluminum in 50 grain from what I see on the website.

You are still nowhere...those 60 grain inserts fit the Lasers which are crossbow bolts...and you still do not know where to find 5/16 50 grain brass inserts, only that they should fit...I would use the 100 grain inserts (which I actually do with my 75/90's) and drop my point weight by 50 grains

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Sorry, didn't realize those 60's were for "other". Maybe just cut the 100's down with a Drexel or similar.

Yes sir, that's why I questioned the 5/16 which is .3125 od. I can't believe I can't find a simple 50 grain brass insert that fits a gt blem.

RMS Gear has 100 and 50 grain inserts that will work.  Who can tell me where to get those pesky 75 grain inserts?
