Custom shooting glove
«
on:

Does anyone make custom shooting gloves. I like the feel of the string I get with my glove but get pain in my ring finger (split finger shooting). I would like a glove that a little thicker in that one finger. If no gloves are available, Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to fix my problem.

I think American Leathers can at least customize your glove a bit...you probably are putting way too much pressure on that finger...most of the draw weight should be on the middle finger...and of course you need to be using a deep hook

I'd talk to John at American Leathers and see what he thinks about a custom option ( his gloves, service, and advice are of the highest order).
For modifying what you have... all I can think is stitching an additional piece of leather onto the problem finger. I think some folks tape up a finger too get a similar effect.
