What are your favorite Trad Gang threads?
« on: October 22, 2007, 08:25:00 PM »
Everybody has some favorite topics, a thread that will draw you to "click it" more times than not.

Mine:

1)  I'm always a sucker for a good broadhead thread, especially something "A la Ashby".

2)  I like to help others with spine guesstimating.

3)  Hill Bows!  I never get tired of reading about them or looking at the pics you guys post.

4)  Classic Grayling Bears!  See above...

What are yours?

Build alongs are my favorite. Expecially like Osagetree's "homegrown hunting equiptment". Just about anything the Ferret posts! And anything having to do with the St. Judes auction...just to name a few....Terry

I like threads that ask (or better yet answer) questions I didn't even know that I had.  This place is a wealth of information.

Along with all of the above;
cane arrows
Charlie Lamb stories
Ferrets back yard deer pics

And anything from members that have a way with words, like George D. Stout, adkmountainken, killdeer, pinecone, etc...

I really enjoy the bowbuilding and arrowmaking  threads, especially if they have pics.  I read most of the various threads however.  This site is nothing less that a wonderful outdoor school with a wealth of talent and knowledge that is willingly shared.

Anything that describes how to do something.
Anything that has homemade equipment.
Any hunting story with pictures.

In no particular order.

Gosh Denny, maybe I shouldn't have said "you never win". I underestimated you, I didn't think you'd stoop so low to win one   :(   ...I guess I was wrong,  but what is it they say about pay backs?
