St Jude thoughts
« on: June 23, 2016, 01:52:00 PM »
I was just sitting here looking at some of the cool stuff that came in the mail as a result of the auction. I wanted to say thank you to the moderators working mostly unseen. When I send my check to Walt it makes me wonder what his mailbox looks like that week lol

Thanks to everyone that took the time to post items big and small. The auction was a lot of fun and it feels good to help the kids. Be Well, Jim

It's funny how I payed about twice as much for the knife that I won the bid on , but I still think I got a great deal .
And to all that have all the sorting and hard work , THANK YOU VERY MUCH .        :campfire:    :archer:

I know there was some concern by some about this not being the best year as far as donations and bids, and unfortunately, my situation dictated that I couldn't participate as much this year, BUT

this is an awesome event, and I look forward to seeing to again and again!

Thanks to all those who put the work in to make this possible.

Great job!

Just saw a commercial on TV for St Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Seeing the kids so ill from cancer and hearing their comments brought a tear to my eye. Then I thought about all the good folks on here who try to help every year with donations and others bidding on the auction. It made me feel better that we help every year.    :notworthy:      :clapper:      :clapper:

Many thanks to the moderators and donors also. I really look to forward to the auction every year.
Many thanks to everybody who help make this possible.
Hopefully Tradgang can still do this auction every year, no matter how small every little bit helps.

I wear my new Necklace with pride.  Some may think I paid too much for it, I think its worth is priceless.

Cyclic, I heard a great statement once--"Some people know the price of everything but the value of nothing."  You understand the value.
