Dirty build up on arrow ?

I appear to be getting some residue from my foam targets on my Trad Only arrows. It's sticky and is also on my shelf. Cure? Prevention? I've been scrubbing all morning with dish soap. Thanks guys

A little denatured alcohol might work. Might take the finish off as well, which usually happens from a lot of shooting anyway.

WD 40 works. Lighter fluid, goo be gone.
Then apply some auto wax to the front half of the arrows or tire sheen product.

The DNA may work but I use acetone. To help keep the stuff off arrow I keep a bar of soap in my quiver. You know those small ones you get at a hotel/motel. I rub that on shaft. I also polish my arrows with car wax. That helps but the soap seems to last more shots. There are lube tubes available from the wheel bow suppliers that work. I found those messy and if you get it on your hands your hands slide on arrow when trying to get it out of target.

Prevention , dry bar of soap , rubbed on a dry washcloth . Rub that on the front half of the arrows .
Apply as needed .
