Roger, let us know how this Hidden Hunter blind does. I build natural blinds, but might pop on this one depending on what I hear about it.

I've got one that's been in the woods since last year, I just need to check the straps and trim some limbs and it's good to go. Have one ladder to hang and a pop up to put out still. They logged our place last year, and then we had way more rain than normal so our roads are pretty much impassable as of now. It's dry but the ruts will high center even most 4wd UTV's. The good news is we have it set up to get a dozer in to fix everything by July 15th, and I'm off in July for a week. So mine should be done soon!!

I have used them for awhile. Fantastic. Built by traditional bowhunters right here in Michigan. Best pop up available, IMHO.

I have a stand of white spruce that im going to try this year . I have to trim the inside so I can sit in there . Should be a very good natural blind .
With my ghillie on I probably won't be able to see myself .

Glad you guys have them set. I've had mine on order since March and I still  don't have one. Sorry but that not customer service.  Bob

You should call them Bob, rather than posting negative things here. That was not the intention of this thread.

I have 12 tree stands to put up and a couple ground blinds to put out. But they will have to wait until Sept. 1.

Roger, did you order yours with all vertical windows? That's what I was thinking of doing but not real sure how that would work out. I have never used a portable before...what do you think?

I wish our bow season opened that early!! It's not until the Saturday closest to October 1 for us. But mid August would be 110ish degrees here too...

I just ordered a standard one (I forget which model it is). It has 2 horizontal windows also. I shoot bows from 62 inch to 66 inch, it accommodates all of them. I could honestly do without the horizontal windows. I have sat in this blind during flintlock season, I would just as soon shoot from the verticals.

I talked to Gus at Northwoods yesterday. They're have problems again getting the blinds sewn up. All construction is done right there in Iron Mountain Michigan but it's been a chore to get the locals to do the work    :dunno:

Oldgoat, that was a nice post, but I have to align myself with your original post. I ordered one back in February and was told 3 months. Not a word from them since then.

It would only take them a minute to call their back ordered customers and leave a message that they are working on some problems and give a new projected delivery date. Courtesy works both ways and as a product supplier, they should be more interested in good public relations. I will gladly accept delivery when they get things straightened out, but in the meantime, I'm keeping my eyes open for alternatives.

I usually hang my ladders in mid-August, then add the stands on Labor Day weekend. Four or five total.
