Hope it works out for you .
I remember when my dad retired , he said he was busier than when he still worked .

Retired is work! I thought I would have lots of time for archery and making bamboo fly rods. Two and half years and still not really doing those on a daily bases.
One thing, I still get up at 0600. Now by choice not by "going to work".
I wish you the very best at your retirement and do build many bows.

Congrats CS! I'll be following in about 8 months. Since we're both over here in western IN mebbe we can shoot together sometime.

Congrats Mike.  I will be retired two years come January, and loving it.  Went to work at 05:30 for  30 something years, still wake up early but, nice not to have to go to work.  Mostly just adore the grandkids and build a few bows.  Probably just as busy as ever but, doing what I want to.  Just don't let the bow building become a job try to keep it fun.

Congrats on your retirement! Although I am fast approaching retirement age, I am in no way, shape or form economically 'retirement ready' so I say if you are, enjoy it to the hilt!

Congrats on the retirement. I've got quite a few years of workin before I get there.
If you wanna relax and enjoy retirement, learn to tell people "no". It took my dad about three years of always doing things for other people before he learned to take time for himself and enjoy retirement.

Congratulations on your retirement. I hope you enjoy it. I am about 1 year from it. Exact date not set.
I figure I can spend my retirement making sure I dont starve. Ill hunt, fish, pick mushrooms and berries. I can keep busy.

Congratulations Mike. This October will be 5 years for me, oh my goodness how time flies. Like a lot of others, it seems as though I am busier now than when I was working..... I hope you are blessed with many years of doing more of what you would like to do.

Enjoy your retirement, my folks live in Hazelton the next time I'm down that way I will have to stop by and visit with you if you don't mind. I would love to shoot one of your Bows.

Congratulations on your retirement. What people say about being super busy after retirement sure has been true for me. Not as much money for hobbies, either.
