Are some of the guys who are interested in the Adirondack bow hunt going to Denton Hill?  It might be a good place to get together and hash out some plans for the hunt.    :campfire:   Just a thought.

Great country, grew up near Utica & still venture up there occasionally. Not really a target rich environment, but still a great time. Mike

Your right......if you want to see a bunch of deer there are many places to go other than the big woods up north. You have to hunt there because you want to hunt there. The true wild places are getting few and far between.......but you can have a wilderness adventure in the Adirondacks.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I will be in Colorado from 9/12 till 9/25. Upon my return, I am looking at doing this hunt sometime around 10/8.  This will be a 3 day weekend hunt, In the Siamese Wilderness area, requiring a canoe to cross Lake Abanakee, and Indian Lake. Primitive camp, focused on Bear and Deer.
