Oh boy done it again
« on: July 23, 2016, 01:00:00 AM »
Greetings from Texas

I have been a very busy guy, and have a new Warf to show . Originally it was using Samick Sage limbs, but it now was fitted by me to accept IfL. It shoots very well , and really puts you in a good position to shoot instinctively. Here you go

Nice work!  It's fun to play with a new bow.

Thanks for sharing!  This time of year, I'm so anxious for deer season to begin that every little thread is a joy to read!

Looks good! Is that a Black Bear riser? I have one I had done years ago. They are a heavy riser for sure, even heavier when you have lead added to the bottom limb pocket! I used mine for 3D, but it just got to heavy to lug around the mountains. I had a set of Winn&Winn limbs on mine. Came out to 47# at my draw.

Yes it is a Black Bear riser great catch. I painted it my self. I used the plates for the ifl. As for the a good seal I got house caulk , and injected it into riser. I also seated a brass fitting into the riser through the plate. I am glad that I had a torch to seat the brass to the plate. Its very quiet. Build is something worth trying.

Thank you all for looking.

PS . If anyone wants help with Warfs please let me know , I love building them.

I am under the "you will lose certain body parts if you get a new bow" penalty right now with the wife....so I am a bit jealous.
