A Short Film on Mental Toughness
« on: August 09, 2016, 11:53:00 AM »
Hey gang,

New short film just dropped on youtube. (link below) This film is a purposeful tease of projects to come. As you all know, a repeatable and reliable shot sequence is the archer's most valuable tool when shooting under pressure.

Enjoy this short film, have a laugh at my expense, and watch for future projects coming in the next few weeks.

As always, we try to show the good with the bad... and this is just flat out bad...

Really enjoyed that thanks for sharing... Really easy to beat yourself up over blown opportunitys but recovering from failure is what makes to good shooter great

Great video and thanks for sharing. I hope this video comes to mind before my next shot at a live target.

It can happen to the best archers in the world! Part of why it's so fun. Always something to learn.

Been there!  Frustrating. Shameful. Humiliating. Enough to make a guy cry? Almost. Enough to make a guy quit? Heck no!  Thanks for the video.

Love the video. Can't wait to see what's next!

Man, I've definitely been there, so I feel like I can make this comment;

It looked like two different people shooting in the "No Stress" and "High Stress" shot sequences!!!!

There is no doubt that confidence and stress (mental) play a huge part in what we do. If it was easy though, most of us would not be doing it. The fact that it is sooooooooooo hard is a big part of the reason that the successes are sooooooooooo rewarding!

Another good video!

If my shooting in the woods was anything like my 3d shooting in front of people I would never kill an anything . In the woods I don't feel near the pressure. 3d is a whole different animal than hunting.

Neat stuff.......sometimes you get the bear......sometimes the bear gets you. We all have those days.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
